SAP MM consultant

Roles and Responsibilities

Configure, maintain and continuous improvement of MM components:
  • Procurement processes (Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders, RFQs, Approvals, Source list, Info record, Service entry sheets, etc).
  • Inventory Management (Goods Receipt, goods issue, returns, transfer Posting, cycle count, physical inventory, etc).
  • Material Master and Vendor Master configuration & data setup.
  • Pricing procedure, Valuation and Account Determination.
  • Automatic PO configuration, release procedures, etc.
  • Set up organizational structures (plants, storage locations, purchase org, purchasing orgs).
  • Output determination, Tax configuration, E Invoicing, E way bill, GST configurations
Key Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of Source-to-pay processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA MM implementation & support roles.
  • Familiarity with ARIBA, SRM or Fiori apps (optional but valuable).
  • Knowledge of GST, taxation, and country-specific settings.
  • Exposure to cross modules of SD, PP & FICO.
  • Exposure to PLM software & change management.
  • Hands on experience with RICEF objects.
  • Experience in end/super user support, training and user manual creation.
Analytical Tools:
  • Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or similar tools for KPI monitoring and reporting – Preferred
  • Excel expertise required.

Technical Expertise

SAP Expertise:
  • Proficiency in SAP and PLM modules.
Data Management:
  • Strong understanding of master & transactional data creation and validation.
  • Exposure to Supplier relationship and/or Supply chain Management.
Process Optimization:
  • Ability to streamline workflows for Purchase & Engineering ECN process.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for manufacturing and quality assurance.
Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Expertise in troubleshooting process & SAP-related issues
  • Proactively identify process gaps/improvement areas and develop mitigation strategies.
Certifications:
  • Certification in any SAP module or SAP HANA Experience is an added advantage.
  • Any procurement/supply chain certification is an added advantage
